One Direction top both the UK albums and singles charts

One Direction have entered both the albums and singles charts in the UK straight in at Number 1.

'Little Things', which was Number 3 in Wednesday's Official Singles Chart Update, overtook Little Mix's 'DNA' since then leaving the girlband in the Number 3 instead.

Over in the albums chart, 'Take Me Home', is this week's Number 1 after selling over 130,000 copies since being released last Monday (November 12).

The band celebrated earlier in the BBC Radio 1 studio tonight (November 18) with presenter Reggie Yates, whilst the countdown to both charts ended.

Robbie Williams pulled off an Official Charts Double last Sunday (November 11) when his single 'Candy' held onto Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart, while his album, 'Take The Crown', debuted at Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart.
