One Direction on possible solo careers: 'We're together now and that's it'

UK based boyband One Direction have admitted that going their separate ways and starting individual solo careers is something they wouldn't even consider at this stage.

During an interview with U.S. television's Barbara Walters, the lads explained that everything is going so well for them as a group that they wouldn't want to jeopardise it by splitting up for selfish success:

Member Louis Tomlinson exclaimed: "We're just having an absolutely great time. It'd be wrong to look at it and be like, 'When is this gonna end?'"

Niall Horan also weighed in on the future and said, "I wouldn't do it. We're together now, and that's it," while singer Zayn Malik added: "It's not even a question."

Back in November, Liam Payne caused a stir after creating his own YouTube channel, but was quick to reassure his fans that it didn't mean he was thinking of leaving One Direction and told them:

"Okay bored of constant news articles... I'm not dating Leona ... My YouTube channel isn't for a solo career and I didn't insult Kim k...Pow!"
