One Direction star Niall Horan has topped a list of celebrities girls would most like to spend Valentine's Day with.

In a poll run by We Love Pop magazine, the Irishman beat bandmates Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson, who land at No.6 and No.8 respectively.

At second place on the list is The Wanted's Nathan Sykes, whilst Canadian hunk Justin Bieber is in at No.3.

Other names on the Valentine's Day list include Union J's George Shelley and JLS star Aston Merrygold.

We Love Pop editor Malcolm Mackenzie believes that Horan may have topped the list because he seems to be a "good boy" without tattoos. He said:

"Like most people, we expected Harry Styles to come out top - but it seems girls are getting fed up with pop stars who cover themselves in tattoos, smoke and jump from one girlfriend to the next. These results show that good boys are hot at the moment."
