Niall Horan issues ultimatum to Derby County chairman over gig tickets

One Direction star Niall Horan has told the chairman of Derby County Football Club that he'll only give concert tickets to his daughter if he injects money into the team.

The Irishman has often shown his support for the Championship side and has visited their Pride Park ground on numerous occasions.

Speaking to The Sun, the singer revealed that chairman Andrew Appleby often speaks to Horan at matches and brings up his One Direction loving daughter.

However, it seems the 'Kiss You' man will only give away concert tickets if the chairman puts more money into Derby to buy more players. He said:

"Every time I go to a game he's always like, 'Yap, yap, yap'. He said his daughter is a fan and asked me if they could go to our show in Detroit."

The cheeky heartthrob added: "I said, 'Yeah, that's not a problem' but I told him he couldn't go himself. I said, 'Until you buy a few players you're not getting a ticket to our show'."

The One Direction star meanwhile tweeted angrily today (March 19) about Derby's current form, saying:

"Just thinkin about my beloved derby county! Fans don't deserve this anymore! C'mon owner finger out! You're embarassing yourself."
