Boyband One Direction were the lucky winners of two Kids' Choice Awards over the weekend and the lads have now taken to their individual Twitter accounts to thank fans for supporting them.

The band took home the Favourite Music Group and Favourite Song (for 'What Makes You Beautiful') prizes a few days ago, and member Niall Horan explained that he is "overwhelmed" at the fantastic news:

"Wow! I can't believe it! Sorry I'm late! Thank you soo much for the KCA'S! Wow! So overwhelmed my it! Thank you, thank you, thank you!"

Singer Liam Payne added: "Ive only just heard, thank you so much to everyone who voted for us to win the 2 kids choice awards! Love you all! Best fans everrrr :)"
