One Direction's Niall Horan has ranted about wanting some "chill" time in the midst of the band's gruelling world tour.

The international superstars - also comprising Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne - are currently in the middle of the US leg of their 'Take Me Home' tour.

Horan took to Twitter to moan about finding the band's jet setting lifestyle tough, before apologising to his fans for his bad temper.

He wrote: " Stalked out of it! Wish I could just chill on the day off," before shortly posting; "I'm tired today! Sorry for bein a kn*b! (sic).

Horan had previously complained about the hotel's air conditioning on the social networking site, writing: "AC in hotel rooms is horrible! Makes your throat real dry! Just slept all night with it on! (sic).

One Direction have already played shows in the UK and Europe and are currently performing for their fans in America.

Their 'Take Me Home' tour wraps up in October in Melbourne, Australia.
