One Direction have released a new teaser clip of their forthcoming single.

The popular boyband are unleashing 'Best Song Ever' as their next track, with the tune due to be unveiled on Monday (July 22).

On the same day, the video will be released at 6.10pm UK time.

To mark the one-week countdown, the lads have uploaded a fresh teaser clip that lasts some 20 seconds.

The team behind the 'Kiss You' superstars are also inviting One Direction fans to record Instagram videos of themselves singing what they think the rest of the track will go like.

The group are due to build up to the single's big reveal on Monday by releasing teaser pictures and clips from the song's video.
