One Direction heartthrob Zayn Malik has revealed that the ultimate tribute to himself would be a statue made in his image and then erected in his hometown.

Speaking to GQ magazine about how the boyband might be remembered or celebrated in the future, he confessed that a great idea would be a statue to show where he came from and what he managed to achieve:

"I want a monument put up in Bradford! They will build statues of us. No, I want to change pop culture."

While his aspirations are rather lofty, band member Niall Horan joked, "It would be great to just be remembered." Louis Tomlinson added that the best way One Direction could be remembered is "as a boy band that didn't dance".
