UK based boyband One Direction have revealed that they gave 'Best Song Ever' its first live outing last night and the response was overwhelming.

They performed the track, which recently broke the record for most VEVO hits in 24 hours, at their concert yesterday (July 30) in San Jose at the SAP Center and member Harry Styles took to his official Twitter page to share his excitement at the reception it received:

"First time performing 'Best Song Ever' tonight... Was a lot of fun. Thanks for having us San Jose. You were amazing."

Heartthrob Niall Horan added: "San Jose sick crowd! First time we ever did 'best song ever' tonight! What a reaction! Loved rockin out with the guitar on that!"
