One Direction star Niall Horan has uploaded a photo of himself meeting David Beckham.

As previously reported, the Irishman revealed yesterday (August 8) on Twitter that the former footballer met up with the boyband at the group's gig in Los Angeles.

Fans eagerly awaited a photo of the 'Kiss You' stars with Beckham and now they've got a glimpse of Horan with the retired sportsman.

The singer tweeted a photo of himself with the British hunk before saying:

"What a great guy! Great t meet him! absolute legend!"

It wasn't quite so fun for bandmate Louis Tomlinson, however, who tweeted: "Gutted I didn't get to meet Beckham yesterday :(."

One Direction meanwhile have two dates left at LA's Staples Center before the North America leg of their Take Me Home tour concludes.
