One Direction's Liam Payne has confessed that while he's excited about his group's new movie, 'This Is Us', there's a certain part that makes him feel really sad and emotional.

Speaking at the film's premiere in London earlier this evening (August 20), he explained that it shows the perspective of the members' parents and it made him realise how much he is missed by his family:

"It is hard being away from our families but it was even harder to watch. That scene where my dad is talking about wanting to take me to the pub, every time I watch it, it makes me want to cry because we never hear from them what it's like for us to be away from home."

During One Direction's recent press conference about the big-screen project, Payne admitted that he has a new girlfriend in childhood friend Sophia Smith. He pointed her out to the press and announced to the room: "Yes yes I do [have a new girlfriend]. She's sitting right over there. It's not been long."
