Harry Styles has conceded that Taylor Swift will probably pen lyrics about him.

The One Direction singer dated the country-pop lady at the turn of the year but the short fling ended with an apparent fight abroad.

Swift is well-known for writing songs about love experiences that have gone awry - and speaking to Us Weekly, Styles is well aware of that fact. He said:

"It would be hypocritical for me to say she couldn't do it because everybody writes songs based on personal experience. I can't say I'd have dated someone less famous to avoid it."

The 'Kiss You' man added that he isn't worried about the prospect of being immortalised in Swift lyrics, before adding:

"At least she's a great songwriter!"
