One Direction star Louis Tomlinson has gone on the offensive against The Wanted.

The two British-Irish boybands have regularly been sparring over the last year, with Tomlinson often in the thick of it.

In an interview with The Sun, the 'Live While We're Young' star has now taken aim at The Wanted's Jay McGuiness, who Tomlinson says is a "patronising pr*ck". Referring to apparently being called a "d*ck" by Max George, he said: 

"Whatever, Max. He’s nothing. That Jay’s a bit of a pr*ck. He sent me a really long message trying to patronise me."

Tomlinson added: “I replied with something immature but f*** it. You know me, I like an argument.”

It seemed meanwhile that The Wanted were recently trying to bury the hatchet after Max George praised One Direction's 'Best Song Ever' on Twitter.
