Harry Styles has admitted to nicking some soap from Johnny Depp.

The One Direction man was invited along with his bandmates to the A-lister's house in Los Angeles when the group were out in the US last year.

Speaking to Us Weekly, Styles revealed that one his friends encouraged him to nab something as a memento from his visit - and it seems some toiletries were the target. He said:

"I stole soap from his bathroom. My friend told me, 'You have to take something'. So I apologise to Johnny now."

The singer meanwhile also told the same publication that he expects former flame Taylor Swift to write songs about him. He said:

"It would be hypocritical for me to say she couldn't do it because everybody writes songs based on personal experience. I can't say I'd have dated someone less famous to avoid it."
