Louis Tomlinson's grandfather hires out entire theatre for 'This Is Us' screening

One Direction's debut movie 'This Is Us' hit cinemas across the UK yesterday (August 28) and member Louis Tomlinson's grandfather treated his close friends and family to a special showing.

His granddad hired out two screens at a movie theatre in Doncaster to accommodate his loved ones and the manager at Vue Doncaster, Steve Pimperton, told the press:

"Louis' granddad was clearly very proud of Louis' achievements and was extremely keen to watch the film amongst friends and family at Vue Doncaster. He didn't want Louis to know that he was planning this visit as he knew his grandson would have wanted to pay for the tickets."

"He was even so kind as to buy the cinema staff 'thank you' chocolates for placing the booking and helping to make the night such an enjoyable experience."

Member Niall Horan also opened up about his excitement over the film's general release, telling his Twitter followers that he was tempted to head to a cinema to watch 'This Is Is': "The movie is out today! Wohooooo! Might go sneak into a cinema somewhere tonight and watch! Hahahaha."
