One Direction's debut fragrance is on course to become of the fastest selling perfumes of all time.

The lads are due to release their first ever scent Our Moment via the The Fragrance Shop from September 9 and it looks set to become a massive success.

It has already been unleashed exclusively in London's Harrods and it managed to shift 3,000 boxes in just two days.

Escentual.com CEO Rakesh Aggarwal told the Daily Mail: "Our Moment is predicted to sell around 180,000 units in the first week alone, making it one of the fastest selling fragrances of all time. It’s certainly looking like it’s going to be the most successful celebrity perfume launch of the year and sales in America are expected to be bigger still."

Perfume Shop spokesperson Daniel Thompson meanwhile commented: "We launched the pre-order for Our Moment on August 1 and since then have taken over 20,000 pre-orders from across Europe."

One Direction meanwhile are due to make an announcement about their forthcoming third album today (September 6) at 4pm.
