One Direction star Harry Styles was spotted on the London Underground as he made his way to see an Elton John gig.

The singer was snapped on the tube last night (September 12) as he travelled to see John's concert at the iTunes Festival in Camden.

The Mirror meanwhile reports that the pianist name-checked the 'Kiss You' singer during the show, saying: "Thanks to the fabulous Harry Styles."

This led to some boos, however, with John then adding: "I love One Direction, f*** off."

Styles isn't the first celebrity to take public transport to concerts, with the likes of Rihanna and Jay-Z also using underground trains in the recent past.
