One Direction heartthrob Louis Tomlinson recently performed with the group in Adelaide (September 23) on the Australian leg of their Take Me Home tour and suffered a rather dramatic fall on stage. 

The superstar was performing a rendition of 'Kiss You' with the rest of his bandmates when he started to run along the front length of the stage and slipped, falling flat on his back (shown left). He remained horizontal for around 20 seconds as two of the singers hovered over him and then jumped back up to continue on with the show.

Meanwhile, the lads apologised over the weekend for disappointing Australian fans who had camped out at the airport in order to give them a warm welcome and revealed that they had to sneak out because they were told that it wasn't safe to stop and greet their Directioners. Liam Payne tweeted:

"Sorry we couldn't stop in the airport they said it wasn't safe. Great to be in Oz though."
