One Direction star Niall Horan has given fans a taste of his rapping ability in a new Instagram video.

The Irishman is noted for his singing and guitar playing skills, but his talent at spitting out rhymes has largely gone unnoticed.

However, the 'Kiss You' star features in a new video uploaded on the official One Direction Instagram page that sees 'MC Nialler' try his hand at rap.

He's backed up by bandmate Liam Payne, who offers some rap-themed grunts in the background.

Horan tweeted about the clip: "Anyone see my unbelieve rappin on one direction instagram? #MCnialler."

One Direction meanwhile are currently on the Australia and New Zealand leg of their Take Me Home world tour before heading to Japan at the start of November.
