Heartthrob Niall Horan has shared the title of his favourite track from forthcoming new studio album, 'Midnight Memories'. 

Writing on his official Twitter page this afternoon (October 10), the Irish superstar explained: "Can't wait for you to hear 'Story Of My Life'!"

He then returned to the social networking and shared an adorable snapshot of him as a child, wearing an army uniform (pictured below), adding: "I think 'Story Of My Life' is my favourite song on 'Midnight Memories'! Can't wait for it."

Singer Liam Payne also uploaded a picture from when he was a kid, which shows him standing next to a man next to a wizard, and Harry Styles posted an image of himself as a toddler. The rest of the boyband then followed suit and member Louis Tomlinson confirmed that 'Story Of My Life' will be their next single:

"So our next single is gonna be Story of My Life!"

One Direction's collective Twitter page then shared a message that confirmed details of the track's release: "YES - the guys' next single 'Story of My Life' will be available to download 28th October! 1DHQ x #StoryOfMyLifeSingle2."

'Midnight Memories' is due to be released on November 25 and it's available to pre-order now.
