One Direction's Louis Tomlinson: "We are so proud of 'Take Me Home'"

One Direction star Louis Tomlinson has paid tribute to their current album 'Take Me Home'.

The boyband released the follow-up to their debut 'Up All Night' in November 2012 and it hit No.1 in charts worldwide.

They are due to release their third record 'Midnight Memories' on November 25 and it will see the beginning of the end in terms of the promotional cycle of 'Take Me Home'.

Referring to the band's nominations at the upcoming American Music Awards, Tomlinson tweeted today (October 23):

"Massive thanks to everyone who has voted for @onedirection for Favourite Album - Pop/Rock at the #AMAs. We are so proud of Take Me Home."

The group are up for two gongs at the November 24 AMAs - the aforementioned Favourite Pop/Rock Album and Favourite Pop/Rock Band/Duo/Group.

One Direction meanwhile are due to finish up the Australia and New Zealand leg of their Take Me Home Tour at the end of the month before travelling to Japan for a batch of shows.
