UK based boyband One Direction have finally premiered their highly anticipated new single, 'Story Of My Life'. 

The track debuted on radios at 4pm BST this afternoon (October 25) and fans have been showing their phenomenal support for it across various social media platforms, making it a worldwide trending topic on Twitter. 

It showcases a different sound for the heartthrobs and boasts an acoustic framework with a soaring yet anthemic chorus. Earlier today, member Niall Horan told Capital FM that he thinks it might be the band's best song yet:

"It's up there with the best that we've brought out but 'Story of My Life' might just take it. It's a very passionate song and when you see the video that goes with it, it suits it as well."

Horan also confessed that they didn't write 'Story Of My Life', adding: "This track is not actually one that we wrote this time. A good friend of ours and a songwriter called Jamie Scott who's in a band called Graffiti6 – he wrote this song. He's written a few for us before like 'More Than This' and on the last few albums. He's written a lot with us on this album too."

It will be released as a single on Monday, October 28 and is also set to feature on One Direction's upcoming new studio album, 'Midnight Memories'.
