OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder: 'I'm going into the studio with Adele'

'Counting Stars' hitmaker Ryan Tedder has confessed that he is scheduled to go into the studio with vocal powerhouse Adele later this year.

Speaking to Billboard magazine recently, the talented frontman and songwriter explained that he got the call and can't wait to work with her again, but didn't reveal any other details: "I know I'm going back in with her. And so, if there's any kind of time crunch, I'll definitely have to bring my A game, I know that much."

The 'Someone Like You' superstar teased that she will maybe release a new record later this year after sharing a somewhat cryptic tweet on her 26th birthday, which read: "Bye bye 25... See you again later in the year x."

Earlier this month, Tedder admitted that when he co-wrote 'Turning Tables' with Adele they were both overcome with emotion because of how the song made them feel:

"It’s easy to look back at your most successful singles and call them your favourites, but I knew there was something special when we came up with 'Turning Tables'. After we worked on the song I went back to my hotel room in London and I texted her saying, 'I’m listening to your demo and I’m getting choked up'. She said, ‘I’ve been crying my eyes out for the last 20 minutes.' We both thought we’d nailed it."
