Outkast deny new album speculation

Outkast have poured cold water over speculation that they will release a new album.

The US pair have reunited for a number of shows to celebrate their 20th anniversary.

They will play a slew of festivals and they have already been announced for the UK's Bestival and Wireless.

However, Big Boi has now dismissed rumours about the hip-hoppers unleashing a new record.

He told Revolt TV: "No, no, no. We're just doing the tour only, just for the fans. That's all it is, just the tour. It's just the Outkast 20th year anniversary, just a way for us to celebrate with our fans, but there's no album in the works, no."

Outkast - whose last album came in the shape of 2006's 'Idlewild' - are also due to perform at the massive US festival Coachella.
