Paloma Faith doing okay after London mugging

Paloma Faith has spoken about being mugged earlier this year in London.

The British singer told BBC Radio 2's Dermot O'Leary that she was the victim of theft whilst walking down a street in February.

However, she insisted that she is doing "fine" after the scary incident. Faith said:

"I was mugged a few weeks ago in London, they came from behind me. They didn't mug 'me' - I don't think they saw it was me, they just saw a person. They got my bag but luckily my phone and keys were in my pocket. A word of warning - always separate. I'm fine, I was scarily fine but the person I was with was really shaken up. I was just like, 'That's pretty standard in London'. Maybe I'm desensitised."

She tweeted meanwhile after the incident: "I got mugged last night. Not fun. Thank you London. That'll teach me to walk home."

Faith meanwhile released her new album 'A Perfect Contradiction' in the UK on Monday (March 10).
