Paloma Faith: 'I don't think I'm cool enough to sing the next Bond theme'

Songstress Paloma Faith has revealed that she won't be singing the next James Bond theme.

On February 6, the BRIT Award-winning beauty explained that she was desperate to record the next James Bond movie theme and tweeted: "Dear @007 Ive been waiting patiently to be able to sing the next theme.I was BORN to do it.Please don't give it to someone else again!"

She has now revealed to Jonathan Ross the she doesn't think she is considered cool enough to sing the Bond theme and has been told that she won't be recording it for the movie's next installment:

"I also know that I'm not going to sing the Bond [theme song] because I've found out that I'm not going to be singing it… I think now because of the whole cool factor thing I'm never going to get it, and if you ask for something in this business, you don't get it."

In December last year, filmmaker Sam Mendes teased that he knows the identity of the artist who will sing the theme song for the 24th James Bond film, but refused to give any hints.
