Paloma Faith praises NHS after emergency caesarean during birth

Paloma Faith has praised the NHS service after going through a difficult birth which resulted in her needing an emergency caesarean.

The British singer-songwriter posted onto Instagram, praising the "incredible doctors, midwives and nurses" at University College Hospital, adding that she was "humbled" by "the devotion, kindness and commitment".

The baby's gender is not yet known, but the father is Paloma's artist boyfriend, Leyman Lahcine.

The singer said that the NHS "should be respected and protected by all," adding, "God bless the NHS!"
