	  <title><![CDATA[Pete Doherty released from prison early]]></title>
	  <description><![CDATA[<p><a href="/pg/newsdesk/petedoherty/">Pete Doherty</a> was released from prison yesterday, July 5.&nbsp;</p>
<p>The Libertines star finished his <a href="/pg/newsdesk/PeteDoherty/view/25263/">six-month sentence for cocaine possession</a> early and a message on the Albion Rooms website told fans the news:</p>
<p>"On this bright sunny morning&nbsp;Peter&nbsp;was released from prison and thanks everyone for their valued support whilst inside.&rdquo;&nbsp;</p>
<p>The musician's manager, Adrian Hunter, also posted an update on the French Dog Blues message board that read:</p>
<p>"Peter&nbsp;has been released as was reported there hours ago. Long day folks but a happy one. Many good things done. All's good and peace and quiet shall now ensue. A bit of 'bedding in' and reflection is on the cards and so much the better.&rdquo;</p>
