Pete Doherty has announced plans to sell celebrity memorabilia in London.

Among the items the indie icon wants to offer to the public include cigarette ends smoked by the late Amy Winehouse and Primal Scream's Bobby Gillespie.

The odd news was revealed in a new interview with NME, with Doherty adding that he'd like to set up a stall in Camden to sell the goods. He said:

"I've got fag butts that belong to Bobby Gillespie, Kate Moss and Amy Winehouse, and I've got Christmas paper that [former Coventry City goalkeeper] Steve Ogrizovic sent to the guy from Black Sabbath. All kinds of sh*t basically."

Doherty meanwhile also talked about his band Babyshambles' forthcoming new album, which is slated for a September release and will be produced by Stephen Street. He said:

"It's a strong record. Stephen Street has pulled it out of the bag, I think. And there's a special guest on one of the songs. We're not saying who it is yet but you'll like it."
