Pharrell Williams' 'Happy' set to stay at No.1 in the UK

Pharrell Williams is set to remain No.1 in the UK singles chart this weekend.

The Official Charts Company have confirmed today (January 15) that the US singer's track 'Happy' is currently top of the charts.

It has sold 496,00 copies so far in the country since it was released last year. If Pharrell reaches No.1, it will be his third week at the top.

In second place on the midweek update meanwhile is the non-moving 'Timber' by Pitbull and Ke$ha, whilst Avicii's 'Hey Brother' similarly sticks at No.3.

Elyar Fox is a new entry at No.4 with 'Do It All Over Again' and Jason Derulo's 'Trumpets' drops one place to No.5.

Shakira and Rihanna's blockbuster duet 'Can't Remember to Forget You' meanwhile is a new entry at No.12.
