Pharrell Williams' hit track 'Happy' is on course to top the UK singles chart once again.

The song, which features on the Despicable Me 2 soundtrack, is currently No.1 on the Official Chart Company's midweek singles chart update.

If the US star stays put come Sunday (March 2), it will be the third time this year that it will have topped the chart.

At No.2 meanwhile on the midweek update is Sam Smith's 'Money on My Mind', which drops one place.

Clean Bandit's 'Rather Be' sticks at No.3 whilst Tiesto's 'Red Lights' is this week's highest new entry at No.4.

At No.5 is Katy Perry's 'Dark Horse', which rises one place from No.6.
