Pharrell Williams reveals his son Rocket's musical talent: 'He played keys on his own at 2'

Hitmaker and producer Pharrell Williams has revealed that his young son, Rocket, has some impressive musical abilities for a 5-year-old.

During a recent interview with Ryan Seacrest for KIIS-FM, the superstar explained that Rocket was able to sing on key before he was even a year old and he has continued to flourish musically since then:

"When he was 7-and-a-half months, I was playing these notes on the piano, and then after I sang it, he sang the note."

Williams went onto add: "Then when he was 2, he started playing keys on his own."

His hit single 'Happy', meanwhile, was recently named the UK's best-selling song of 2014 after shifting 1.29 million units, beating the likes of Clean Bandit and Jess Glynne's 'Rather Be', John Legend's 'All Of Me', and Pitbull's collaboration with Kesha on 'Timber'.
