Pharrell Williams wins at GQ Men of the Year awards

Pharrell Williams was one of the big winners at last night's (September 2) GQ Men of the Year awards.

The magazine hosted their annual awards ceremony in London and a host of top names were honoured.

Williams went home with the Solo Artist gong to cap off a successful year that has seen him enjoy huge fame with the likes of 'Happy'.

Paolo Nutini meanwhile bagged the Special Achievement prize and Iggy Pop was honoured with the Icon award.

Other music related winners on the night were New Order (Inspiration), Ringo Starr (Humanitarian) and Van Morrison (Legend).

There were also awards for the likes of Colin Firth (Leading Man) and John Bishop (Comedian).
