Pharrell: 'Asking me to party is like asking a McDonald's worker if they want nuggets for dinner'

Producer, hitmaker and 'The Voice' panelist Pharrell Williams has confessed that despite being an in-demand celebrity, he really doesn't like the partying lifestyle that comes with it.

Speaking to Arabic language magazine Ahlan! in Abu Dhabi, the 41-year-old superstar admitted that he has grown tired of crazy clubs and drinking until all hours of the morning and explained that it's very unappealing to him now:

"I'm not the biggest partier. It's kind of like asking someone from McDonald's would they like some nuggets for dinner, that's what you do all day."

When asked if he's likely to throw a big blow-out bash for New Year's Eve this year, Pharrell confessed that he'll spend it with his loved ones and plans to put on a nice fireworks display for them: "I'll probably be bringing in the New Year with an unimaginable set of fireworks that'll be going off. That in itself will be different."
