Pharrell Williams' hit song 'Happy' was the most popular song in the UK in 2014.

The Official Charts Company have revealed that the tune got a total of 1.62 million sales and streams over the last twelve months.

Clean Bandit's 'Rather Be' is second on the list with a tally of 1.29 million.

John Legend's 'All Of Me' follows in third place, with Mr. Probz's 'Waves' and 'Thinking Out Loud' by Ed Sheeran finishing off the top five.

Other popular songs included Ella Henderson's 'Ghost', Sam Smith's 'Stay With Me' and Pitbull's 'Timber'.
