Pharrell Williams wants Adele collaboration

Pharrell Williams has expressed his desire to work with Adele.

The British singer is expected to start work on the follow-up to 2011's hit record '21' this year.

US star and super-producer Williams is quoted as saying that he would love to team up with Adele on her new material.

The 'Happy' hitmaker said: "It would be amazing to work with such a talent. I have been excited about her since I first heard 'Rolling in The Deep'.

"If the opportunity comes up in 2015 for us to work together - then I am totally down with that."

He added: "I think today comparisons are thrown about too easily when it comes to comparing current artists with legends. In Adele's case, I think it is warranted though.

"She has a voice that, like Mariah and Whitney, is only going to come along every 20 years or so."
