Pharrell Williams praises Kelly Clarkson: 'This album is flawless'

Rapper Pharrell Williams has opened up about a singer he thinks will be making an impressive comeback with her next studio album.

During a new interview with GQ magazine, Williams explained that he thinks an artist he only names as Kelly has the potential to make an amazing return to music because her songs have such a huge and diverse appeal. GQ hinted that he was alluding to Clarkson and quoted him as saying:

"With Kelly, I think we break her out by going to the sync department at Sony. Go put her music on 'Sons of Anarchy', go put her music on 'House of Cards'. Her songs are so sync-friendly, it's not even funny. This album is flawless. Let's get it."

Clarkson, meanwhile, recently announced that her new album is called 'Piece By Piece' and she teased that it features a collaboration with a male artist she has worked with before: “He is super talented and we’ve worked together before. The song is really cool as well. I got this song and it was actually written as a solo, and I was like, ‘It would be so much darker if it was duet.’ I don’t want to give it away."
