Pharrell Williams prefers the company of women: 'I can relate to their sensitivity'

Singer and producer Pharrell Williams has revealed to GQ magazine that he prefers the company of women because he's very in tune with his feelings and thinks that woman access this side of themselves more openly.

When asked why he tends to surround himself with women, the superstar explained that he relates more to their sensitivity: "Women have a way of expressing themselves that I can relate to more honestly," he says. "I am a sensitive person, so I want to be with sensitive people."

Referring to the women around him on 'The Voice' during the season that recently finished, he added: "They're pretty magical, the women that are here. They sense things before it happens."

Earlier this month, Williams told Entertainment Tonight that he doesn't try to emulate anyone else's success and is instead focused solely on his own achievements: "I don’t live my life to top anything, I don't think anyone should. I think you should just live to enjoy yourself and dive deeper. You dive deeper into what is your own personal legend and odyssey and where that takes you."
