Pharrell Williams song becomes UK's biggest selling single of the millennium

Pharrell Williams' 'Happy' is now the UK's top selling track of the 2000s.

The Official Charts Company have confirmed that the 2013 tune has now sold 1.81 million units in the country.

This means that it has usurped Will Young's 'Anything Is Possible/Evergreen' as the most popular single in the UK this millennium.

Third on the list meanwhile is Williams again - this time with his Robin Thicke collaboration 'Blurred Lines'.

Adele's 'Someone Like You' is No.4, with Maroon 5's 'Moves Like Jagger' following at No.5.

Williams also features again in the top ten, with Daft Punk's 'Get Lucky' the eigth highest selling track of the 2000s.
