Plan B named most influential musician in London

'She Said' sensation Plan B has been included in a poll of London's most influential people and placed the highest in the musicians category.

The list, which was compiled by London's Evening Standard newspaper and called 'The 1000', seeks to determine the most relevant and powerful figures from the world of music, film politics, art, culture and sport. Plan B, real name Ben Drew, ranked at No.18, making him the most important musician in the poll.

The rapper and singer recently won two MOBO awards in the categories of 'Best Male' and 'Best Hip Hop/Grime' and also announced that he plans to take a year off in order to concentrate on making brand new music.

The Evening Standard's Top 20 is as follows:
