Queen say it would be "nice" to record new music with Adam Lambert

Queen haven't ruled out the possibility of recording new tunes with Adam Lambert.

The veteran rock band and the vocal powerhouse are hot news at the moment after announcing on Thursday (March 6) that they will embark on a North American tour this summer.

The 19-date jaunt will be a rare prolonged outing for Queen and Adam Lambert, who have only performed sporadically over the last few years.

When asked by Rolling Stone if they might record new music with the singer, Brian May said:

"I'm open to anything."

Drummer Roger Taylor added: "It would be nice. We'll see what happens on tour. I think we're going to make sure we enjoy it first."
