Queen's Brian May says there will be a new album featuring Freddie Mercury's vocals

Iconic guitarist Brian May has revealed that there is going to be a new Queen album, which will probably be titled 'Queen Forever', and is set to be released before the end of the year.

He admitted that he uncovered some songs that boast the vocals of the late Freddie Mercury and he has been restoring the music with the help of Roger Taylor.

Speaking to BBC Radio Wales, May explained that both he and drummer Taylor had "found a few more tracks with Freddie singing and all of us playing... It is quite emotional. It is the big, big ballads and the big, big epic sound."

He went onto add that the project will be bolstered by the use of ProTools in order to piece the material together as seamlessly as possible: "We had to start from scratch because we only had scraps. But knowing how it would have happened if we had finished it, I can sit there and make it happen with modern technology."

Queen will head out on tour with Adam Lambert as the frontman next month. The north American jaunt will kick off on June 19 at the United Center in Chicago.
