Michael Eavis confirms Queen won't headline Glastonbury Festival

Michael Eavis has denied rumours that Queen will perform at next year's Glastonbury Festival.

The iconic band have been touring with US star Adam Lambert and it had been speculated that they might headline a night at Glastonbury in 2015.

However, organiser Michael Eavis told Music Week that this isn't the case - and rumours of Fleetwood Mac playing are wide of the mark too.

He said: "Queen? Not Queen, no. Fleetwood Mac don't seem to be available at the moment. But we've got three excellent headliners for next year."

Eavis added that the identity of all three headliners will be known by April, with the promoter adding that one of the acts have been around for a "long time".
