Queen and Adam Lambert have extended their forthcoming UK tour due to demand.

The group are set to head the country to play a number of arena shows in January.

However, a further three dates have been added to their schedule in London, Liverpool and Sheffield in February.

They will head to the Wembley Arena in London on February 24 before hitting Liverpool's Echo Arena and the Motorpoint Arena in Sheffield.

Brian May commented: "Just to show we actually DO listen!!! There was a lot of demand for these extra dates, and this will make a great climax to the tour."

Public sale for the tickets start at 9am UK time on Wednesday (November 12). The full schedule is now as follows:

• January 18, London, O2 Arena
• January 20, Leeds, Leeds Arena

• February 26, Liverpool, Echo Arena
