Queen's Roger Taylor official Patron of Cornwall PrideRock drummer Roger Taylor, of Queen fame, has been named the official Patron of Cornwall Pride. The musician, who attended school in Truro, issued a statement on the news and explained that it's an honour to be involved: "I'm so proud to be associated with Cornwall Pride – it looks like August 27 is going to be a wonderful and fun day. Have great time! Onwards and upwards." Queen, meanwhile, will make history with their first ever show in Taipei on September 19 and they can't wait. As previously reported, tickets for the highly anticipated event will go on sale from 10am on July 16. Taylor recently spoke about Adam Lambert's role as the frontman of Queen and had nothing but praise for the 'Ghost Town' superstar: "He really can handle it, believe me."
