Queen say new material is "quite possible": 'It's great to know there's still demand'

Queen's drummer Roger Taylor has revealed that new original material might be on the cards for the iconic rock band's near future.

During an exclusive interview with Planet Rock, he explained that he would be interested in working on new music and he would also push for it to be released, if the tentative plans get that far:

“If we do anything in future, I’d like it to be something new. I don’t know how new it would sound but I think if Brian and I could come up with a song or two, which we felt fitted (we’d release it) [...] It’s quite possible. We’re really enjoying (performing live). We’ve just come back from the Far East, well about a month ago now, which was phenomenal."

Roger Taylor went onto add that he's very excited about everything Queen has going on and it's fantastic that Adam Lambert is still performing with them: “It’s great to know there’s still a demand (for Queen’s music) and we do love performing with Adam Lambert who’s an incredible singer and a great, lovely man. Camp Elvis... that's what I say he is."
