Freddie Mercury and Michael Jackson duets to be released

Recordings that feature Freddie Mercury and Michael Jackson are due to be unveiled this autumn.

The Times reports that the late music icons teamed up to record three songs back in 1983 but they did not have enough time to make more tracks.

Queen guitarist Brian May has been quoted as saying that there will be "something to hear" from the sessions in about two months time.

As previously reported, Queen recently were confirmed to perform with Adam Lambert once more in September at the iHeart Radio Festival in Las Vegas.

The two parties have played a number of shows in the past, including a stint at London's Hammersmith Apollo last year.
