New single ‘Dance With Me’ from Portsmouth rockers Free From Gravity

Portsmouth rock four-piece Free From Gravity gear up for the release of their upcoming EP with this new upbeat single ‘Dance With Me’.

The track sports a catchy chorus and some summery punky guitars. A music video is set to come out in June.

Playing a style of music they call ‘Kick Assed Chilled Out Rock’ (or Soft Rock With Attitude), the band have proved that they are just as capable at writing fun guitar anthems as they are writing emotional ballads, their last single ‘The Long Road’ inspired by frontman Vince’s mother and her battle with cancer.

In the last few months they have played several live venues including The Bedford Live in London, the Vikings Motorcycle Club Rally and the Centurion  in Waterlooville. The band are set to play a number of festivals this year including Hoefest in Waterlooville, Gosport festival on July August 6th, Willow Festival in Dorset on September 18th, plus a load of other gigs in the pipeline.

Alongside these exciting live dates, Free From Gravity have also hinted that they will be playing several guerrilla gigs across the South Coast of England. The exact location of these guerrilla gigs will be kept a secret, the band announcing each one hour before on Facebook (so fans will need to keep a keen eye on their Facebook page!)

The band’s upcoming EP is set to include the singles ‘Dance With Me’, ‘Crazy Lady’, ‘Step Into The Sunlight’ and ‘Saints and Sinners’.
