Homesick Mick releases 'Black Hole Friday' EP alongside #philipfreefriday campaign

The much travelled UK singer-songwriter Homesick Mick releases his greatly anticipated debut E.P. on Friday 25th November 2016 in time for the annual Black Friday sales.

Named Black Hole Friday EP, the recently ‘returned’ Mick has combined this release date with a social media campaign he is running called #philipfreefriday which asks shoppers on Black Friday to boycott Sir Philip Green’s stores like Topshop and Miss Selfridge in an effort to try and persuade the billionaire to pay the lost BHS pensions back to his former staff.

Available on Spotify, Amazon, Deezer, iTunes and other digital sound purveyors, virtuoso guitarist Homesick Mick has ‘taken’ 4 tracks from his ‘soon come’ highly acclaimed debut vinyl LP release ‘The Mysterious Abduction & Return of Homesick Mick’ as a taste of the shape of things to come in the future. Consisting of La Troc, French Blooze, Beautiful Thing and Festive favourite Prisoner to the Past, the Black Hole Friday E.P. showcases Mick’s quality songs and gifted pickmanship.

The LP was recorded at several studio locations during 2016 and recently mastered at Abbey Rd. ‘The Mysterious Abduction & Return of Homesick Mick’ is scheduled for worldwide release on Friday the 13th of January 2017 on various formats.
