The Senti-Mentals change the meaning of Xmas classic with new single ‘You Show Me Yours At Xmas’

Escaping the Christmas classic cliché, The Senti-Mentals release ‘You Show Me Yours At Xmas’, a seasonal single in the tradition of Slade, Mud, Shaky and Wizzard. Paul Eccentric and John Dobinson have come together to form a punk poet meets 50s doo-wop duo that have created the perfect Christmas office party sing-along. The single is accompanied by a brilliant animated video mocking the anti-hero in his attempt to pull anything with a pulse.

Eccentric and Dobinson explain that the single follows “that one guy from accounts who assumes that every lady in the office wants to go home with him but he couldn’t be further from the truth.” The humorous track mixed by Pete Hammond was originally about the ridiculousness of the ‘chatting up’ process but soon became the perfect Christmas party classic.

The accomplished singer, songwriter and playwright, Paul Eccentric originally played for The Odd Eccentric who achieved a number 1 single in Denmark but is most know for being the voice of The Antipoet. However Eccentric wanted to take doo-wop on a whole new journey as front man of The Senti-Mentals, developing a whole new 50s style of his own.
